Victorian Aesthetic Bird and Flower Fob Locket | Victorian Gold-Filled Mixed Metals Locket | Bliss Brothers Co Locket

The locket features a lovely aesthetic movement design on the front and a smooth back side. The front design has an applied rose gold small bird in flight above an applied rose and green gold flower accent. The scene has some additional etched detail around the border to give the piece more dimension. It has an ornate bezel frame. The locket opens and inside it contains one original little frame to hold the photo in place. This piece is ready to add your loved ones photo.

The locket is made by the Bliss Bros. Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts which was in production from about 1896-1950.

Marks: As with many antique pieces, the locket is unmarked for metal content. I believe it is gold filled/plated. Inside it is marked with the Bliss Bros maker mark of a B Co. inside of a large B. It comes with a gold filled split ring making it ready to wear.

Weight: 5 grams

Measurements: 1.4155 inches long (with split ring) and 0.9375 inches wide. Condition: Hinge and closure are working and it snaps shut. There is loss to the gold plating on the locket (please see photos).
