There are 53 half split seed pearls on this brooch (has 1 missing seed pearl which would have made 54). Stars for the Victorians symbolized guidance and direction for the spirit.

Condition: It is missing one of the little seed pearls which is barely noticeable when worn. It has a working c-clasp closure.
