The listing is for a pair of Vintage Art Deco Style Onyx and Marcasite Earrings. The earrings feature a large bezel set circle onyx stone surrounded by an offset half moon halo of prong set marcasites.
The earrings are made by Heirloom 73 which was created in 1973 by Murry and Mildred Shapiro. Their Vintage Creations was a division that specialized in marcasite jewelry.
Marks: Sterling and the Heirloom 73 (stylized H with the 7 over the 3) makers mark.
Weight: 20.7 grams
Measurements: The earrings measure approximately 1.164 inches long x 1 inch wide. The onyx is 0.690 inches wide/long.
Condition: The earrings are for pierced ears. They have a post and safety clip closure for additional security. They have one replacement clip on the earring back but it doesn't affect wear or overall look of earrings. Has some patina that may be cleaned by buyer if preferred.
