This oil painting is of an unknown female sitter. The artist Diane Keske Talmadge is a native of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, "she began drawing portraits as a child and over the years has gained recognition for her unique and sensitive style of oil portraiture. She has the ability to capture feeling and personality as well as an incredible likeness of her subject, displaying a softness unusual in her field. Her works have been exhibited extensively, winning numerous awards, and several one woman shows. Condition: The painting is unframed. The canvas is mounted on a Fredrix stretcher. It is in overall good condition with wear/staining being consistent with storage/handling over the years and some foxing to white areas around edges. May need some cleaning. No rips or tears to the painting. Fraying around edge of canvas where it was cut/staple mounted to the stretcher.
Measurements: The canvas is 16 wide inches by 20 inches long (marked on stretcher as well).
