Vintage Lava Cameo Stick Pin | Gold Figural Stick Pin | Female Bust Carving

The design features a figural cameo made from carved lava on a gold stick pin. It is a lovely bust of a woman, intricately carved down to the smallest details, including small wisps of hair at her face and the folds of her gown. She is also wearing a wreath/crown of grain in her hair, making me believe she may be a depiction of a goddess, perhaps Ceres, the Roman goddess of of agriculture, grain crops, fertility and motherly relationships.
