The pendant is a Religious Medal for Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton. The pendant has its original foil tag. The red and gold foil tag is on a maroon cord. One side reads: CDF MILANO The other side reads: PRODOTTO ARGENTO 800 INALTERABILE. A little more information on St. Elizabeth Ann Seton: Elizabeth Ann Bayley Seton, SC, (August 28, 1774 - January 4, 1821) was the first person born in what would become the United States to be canonized by the Roman Catholic Church. She established the first Catholic girls’ school in the nation in Emmitsburg, Maryland, where she also founded the first American congregation of religious sisters, the Sisters of Charity. Canonized: September 14, 1975, by Pope Paul VI Feast: January 4 Patronage: Catholic Schools; seafarers; widows; Shreveport, Louisiana; and the State of Maryland
