Vintage Sioux Etched Vase | 5 inch Sioux Pottery | Gradient Color Vase | Native American Pottery

The small vase features various etched symbols around the vase. The vase also has color graduation that goes from a light pink to a greyish purple color (see photos for actual colors). The vase has a matte finish on the outside and is glazed on the inside.

Marks: signed Shallow? (can't make it out completely) Sioux on the bottom with a hand incised mark

Weight: 12 ounces

Measurements: approximately 5 1/8 inches high and is 11 13/16 inches around at widest

Condition: no chips/cracks. It has unique characteristics caused in the firing/glazing/sculpting process. Has some very very minimal marks/discoloration due to the unglazed nature of the clay which doesn't affect the overall appearance of the vase (see photos).

This is a beautiful piece that would be a great addition to a Native American pottery collection.
