Vintage Sterling Silver Salt and Pepper Shakers | Siam Thailand KUI KEE Sterling

The shakers were made in Siam and had to be made before 1949 when the country changed its name to Thailand. Each shaker has two silver plaques depicting possibly the Thai Deity Thephanom. Thephanom refers to an angel or deity who is a temple protector and guardian often shown sitting devoutly with hands in prayer position, with a flame like motif behind the head. The shakers are three footed and have a spire on the cap end.

Marks: They are marked KUI KEE Sterling Made in Siam on the underside.

Measurements: The shakers measure approximately 3.193 inches in height and 1.465 inches at the widest total (with tops on). The deity plaques measure approximately 0.510 inches wide and 1.439 inches high. Each shakers measurements varies slightly as they are unique handmade pieces.

Condition: The shakers have patina which can be cleaned by buyer if preferred. They are in overall great condition for there age/use.
