Vintage Sterling Silver Signet Ring | Vintage Silver 1940 Class Ring | US Size 7 Ring

The ring has a raised center shield with the letters S.C.S in black enamel in a ribbon and blue and yellow colored enamel with the number 40 (possibly for the year 1940). The shoulders of the ring shank have a decorative scrolled designs. This ring may have been a class ring or for a fraternal organization; I was not able to identify either. It has been well loved and some of the enamel/crest design has been rubbed smooth by wear/use. Would make a great signet ring for someone who has SCS as their initials or someone who collects date/class rings.

Measurements: 0.5565 inches long and 0.7730 inches at widest (shoulder to shoulder). The band tapers down to 0.1295 wide.
