The brooch is in the shape of a wish bone and has a center set round Connemara Marble cabochon. The brooch has the word Mizpah on the back. Mizpah means "watchtower" and the word is used as a reminder of the emotional bond between people who are separated. It also has the double meaning of good luck as it's in the shape of a wishbone.

Marks: MIZPAH and 2 hearts pierced by an arrow. Not marked for metal content. It is a silver colored metal not sterling silver.
