Vintage WWII RCAF Sweet Heart Locket | WWII Royal Canadian Air Force Sterling Silver Locket | Large Locket

The locket features a lovely ornate engraved RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) crown and wing insignia at the center with a flower accent below. In 1924, the Canadian Air Force, was granted the royal title, becoming the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). During WWII, the RCAF had operations in Great Britain, Europe, the north Atlantic, North Africa, southern Asia. They became the fourth largest allied air force by the end of the war.

Condition: Hinge and closure are working. There is wear and character to the piece consistent with age/use (see photos). The piece has not been polished and shows patina which can be cleaned by buyer if preferred.
