Antique Hard Stone Cameo Brooch | Carved Hardstone with Seed Pearl Surround

The brooch features a hand carved cameo of a classical female profile. The cameo carving is in high relief surrounded by prong held seed pearls on a 14K yellow gold frame. You can see the lovely detailing on the face, her hair and in the flower accent.

Weight: 7.5 grams

Measurements: 1.1755 inches long and 1.0070 inches wide

Marks: unmarked acid tests 14k (tested only the C-clasp to avoid damaging the rest of the piece).

Condition: The cameo has a line fracture that goes all the way to the back of the stone-see photos/video. The seed pearls also have wear. The t-bar clasp appears to have been replaced with a copper piece of wire and you can see some old silver colored solder on the back. She is still a very lovely piece with her imperfections.
