The modernist earrings are comprised of a oval open frame with a bezel set amethyst stone inside the frame. The amethyst stones have an open back bezel so the light can shine through the stone; it will appear darker and lighter purple depending on the lighting. The earrings have a hinge at the post giving them a swinging movement when worn.
