The tea cup and plate have a simple modern design. The cup is plain white with gold lettered Expo' 74 on it and a gold line edge. The plate has a depiction of The Great Northern Tower, United States Pavilion, Aerial Rides and the Spokane River and Monroe Street Bridge and also has the event information: Expo '74 World's Fair Spokane U.S.A. Expo '74, officially known as the International Exposition on the Environment, Spokane 1974. This world's fair was held May 4, 1974, to November 3, 1974 in Spokane, Washington. It was the first environmentally themed world's fair.

Condition: No chips, there is a little wear to the gold in a few spots, The tower has a blemish and the U in USA and S in World's has some loss to the color. Overall for age/use in good condition.
