This brooch features a blue, white and silver enameled Viking ship set on rolling wire waves. The brooch was made by Aksel Holmsen a Norwegian silversmith who opened a small workshop in Sandefjord, Norway in 1904. The company is well known for it's modernist esthetic and use of gold plated silver with enameled guilloche and basse-taille designs.
Measurements: 1.2155 inches long and 1.3235 inches at its widest
The closure is in working condition. It has patina which can be cleaned by buyer if preferred. This is a beautiful brooch and would make a great addition to any enamel or Norwegian jewelry collection.
